Efectivos de las Coordinaciones de Inteligencia y Contra la Delincuencia Organizada, base contra Extorsión Maracaibo, lograron la captura del responsable y dos cómplices del homicidio de Atilio José Torrez Moreno de (47) años, chofer asesinado el pasado 11 de enero, en Negro Primero, parroquia Domitila Flores, municipio San Francisco, estado Zulia.
El detenido fue identificado como Alexis Segundo Castillo de (28) años de edad, autor material del atroz crimen, e integrante del grupo hamponil apodado JL La Burra, el mismo es señalado de ser encargado de realizar atentados con armas de fuego y artefactos explosivos a las residencias y establecimientos comerciales de las personas que se nieguen a pagar las extorsiones.
Según fuentes policiales, el chofer asesinado el pasado 11 de enero, le habrían quitado la vida, porque el dueño de la unidad de transporte no pagó la vacuna.
Atilio José Torres Moreno, de 47 años, se ganaba la vida manejando la unidad colectiva sin imaginarse el peligro que corría en manos de los extorsionadores.
Testigos indicaron que, el homicida subió al autobús en el km 4. A los pocos minutos de avanzar la unidad de transporte, el sicario sin mediar palabras, se acercó al chofer y le propinó varios disparos. Tras cometer el crimen el sujeto huyó en una moto.
De igual forma, fueron detenidos Alejandro Antonio Moran Morán de (21) años, el cual se encargaba de grabar los atentados realizados a las víctimas y enviárselas al líder criminal y, Yuleida Josefina Montiel Martínez de (37) años, quien tenía como actividad delictiva, el suministro de la logística e información de las víctimas; así como, ocultar a los delincuentes durante varios periodos de tiempo, para que estos evadieran a las autoridades policiales, por lo que obtenía pagos por los servicios prestados.
Las detenciones se realizaron en las poblaciones: El Mojan, sector las Lomas, municipio Mara, sector El Taparo de la parroquia Concepción del municipio La Cañada de Urdaneta, del Estado Zulia, sitios en los que se incautaron como evidencias: un celular, un artefacto explosivo tipo granada, y un panfleto que pretendían entregar a una de las víctimas.
Por estos hechos, queda por detener a José Leonardo Atencio Coronado de (32) años, líder negativo del grupo hamponil, que se dedica a extorsionar a la población zuliana, exigiéndoles grandes cantidades de dinero a cambio de permitirles trabajar; asimismo, se encuentran investigados en más de 20 expedientes por homicidio y extorsión.
Los detenidos fueron puestos a la orden del Ministerio Público para su respectivo proceso judicial en rendición de cuentas ante la justicia.
